Maple Stout Quick Bread


I'm really digging quick breads at the moment.  They're really simple to make and they're perfect for quick breakfasts and yummy snacks.  Remember the Chocolate Hazelnut Banana Bread?  That was pretty great, but I think this one is better.  Maybe because it gave me a reason to buy an overpriced 6-pack of Guinness.  But mostly because this bread is super moist, rich, and delicious.  

If you don't have the October issue of Cooking Light, the recipe is here.  Try this one out.  I was really impressed by the flavor.  Sweet but complex.  And the batter was the bomb!  Olie scraped the bowl clean like a 12 year-old.  It was pretty funny.

Perfect with a cup of coffee and a glass of milk.

  1. Especially when you drink milk out of your Incredible Hulk glass. Actually, the Incredible Hulk would probably love this bread. Do you have the recipe?
